Popmania: Meet Your New Band Obsession, The Catching!

July 14, 2017

Get ready Popmaniacs because we have a new band taking the air waves by storm! This group of talented guys came out with a new song and music video that you'll be playing on repeat. The rock/pop band is named The Catching and they're the next big band to watch out for. Watch The Catching's music video for their new single "Do It All Again" here:

We love a song about winning back a girl's heart and The Catching does that perfectly in this single. Their video features a cute brunette that catches the eye of lead singer and bassist, Holden Glazer. The video takes us through a timeline when Holden and his mystery girl have their best times together. They meet at the arcade, pose for a photoshoot, play the guitar together and take the cutest couple photos ever. Although he sees the fun times, they eventually end things leaving Holden heartbroken. Throughout the song, Holden is trying to win back the love of his life in the lyrics. "Don't know how I let it slip away, you bet that I regret it, regretted it for days, everybody makes mistakes," he sings in the hook. We love that this song is about learning from your mistakes and chasing after the one that got away!

The Catching has so much talent and it's obvious in this song. The song tells a story that listeners can really relate to with lyrics that describe the feeling of wanting to win someone back. Along with Holden are guitarists Jake Farbman, Evan Hemwall and drummer Drew Stevens. Their main influences are from big name bands like Coldplay and Fall Out Boy.

These guys are definitely off to a great start especially with the help of an amazing song-writer and producer Matt Squire who has worked with Ariana Grande, One Direction and Panic! At The Disco! We are super excited to see where these guys go next with their upcoming EP that will be released later this year.
